Amanda Tami is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board Certified Behavior Analyst at the Johnson Center for Child Health and Development. She provides behavior analytic services and psychotherapy to neurodivergent individuals and their families. She has experience treating co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. Amanda is certified in EMDR therapy and its applications to children. Amanda has provided training and consultation locally, nationally, and internationally to parents and providers on various topics including building emotion regulation, support across the lifespan, sexuality, and trauma-informed ABA. Amanda lives in Austin with her husband and son and loves cats, crosswords, and Below Deck marathons.

Claire Schutte, PsyD, BCBA-D is Vice President of Evaluation and Research at Action Behavior Centers.

Dr. Claire Schutte, Psy.D, BCBA-D, grew up in Winter Park, Florida and went to college at The University of Florida. She then completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis at Florida Tech.

While in graduate school, Dr. Schutte became interested in psychological assessment, as well as working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders. For her doctorate degree, she completed a one-year internship that brought her to Austin, Texas.

Dr. Schutte interned at The Texas State University Counseling Center, where she provided counseling services for students. She also focused on support services for college students with Asperger’s Syndrome and autism, including leading a support group and educating faculty on the unique needs of these students.

In her free time, Dr. Schutte can be found exploring Austin. She is a big fan of outdoor activities, trying new restaurants, traveling, cooking, and jewelry making.
