Pamela B. Strickland of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on January 12, 2023. Pam received a Master of Science in Child and Adolescent Psychology from the University of North Florida. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Daniel Memorial, she was the Program Director of the Latency Program for severely emotionally disturbed children ages five to nine from the entire state of Florida. She joined Child Guidance Center in 1994 as the Program Director of the South Duval Outpatient location. She later added the Arlington Outpatient site to her supervision. Pam became the Outpatient Director of all outpatient sites across Duval County for CGC. She retired on December 31, 2016, after 22 years of service.

Her love for children is immeasurable. I don’t speak in terms of the past, Pam will continue to be with us for our lifetime, all of us that truly know and love her are aware of this fact. Through her career of helping children and their families, an everlasting legacy was created. Pam has truly made a difference in countless lives and this world.”
A celebration of life will be held at 1 pm, January 28, at Community Presbyterian Church, 150 Sherry Drive, Atlantic Beach, FL 32233.
