At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:

1. Identify common psychiatric and behavioral co-occurring conditions in autistic adults for which psychopharmacologic treatment may be considered, including anxiety, mood disorders, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, and sleep disturbances.
2. Apply evidence-based psychopharmacologic strategies to the selection, initiation, and monitoring of medications in autistic adults, with attention to efficacy, tolerability, and adverse effects.
3. Integrate psychopharmacologic treatment within a multidisciplinary care framework to optimize outcomes and minimize treatment burden in autistic adults.
